Dismantle: An Antiracist Teach-In
During the Lenten season of 2024, the SEMI Synod BRRICK Team led a six week Anti-Racist Teach-in. We met each week at Zion Lutheran Church in Ferndale where we broke bread with each other then on Zoom we brought in powerful black voices from around the ELCA to lead us in various discussions that took theological topics we would have learned in catechism and approached them from an anti-racist perspective, and finally each night ended with evening prayer. You can see the flyer below with all of our topics. As well, all of our sessions were recorded and you can find those recordings on our YouTube channel.
